Agree. Iâm determined to see as much county cricket as possible while I can. When it and test cricket has gone (itâs inconceivable to me that test cricket can carry on when everything else will be 20 overs), Iâll cease to be interestedâŚâŚ.
whatever the provocation, upset and anger at the machinations of the ECB and the inability/craven unwillingness (your choice) of the boards of the 15 counties which remain member owned clubs please do not give up.
Supporters of the county game (whether or not members of the FCCs) will still need a voice long into the future signposting what is going on and drawing attention to the lies, inconsistencies and fallacies underpinning the rotten leadership being given to our game by its leaders.
Supporters of the county game need your service and things like the CC Live blog on the Guardian's site to sustain us and bring us together.
Thank you again for everything you have done/are doing to shine a light on current happenings.
I feel your pain. I have a draft email saved to the Warwickshire Chief Executive Stuart Cain saying that my wife and I are going to take our bats home as Members at the end of the season. Enough is Enough
I canât think of many good reasons to carry on thinking about or writing about what the ECB is doing to our game.
But one is to do what youâve been doing, to document the lies and corruption, so after it all falls apart we can point to the guilty men.
Douglas Dunnâs poem âInstructions to a Saintly Poetâ has these lines which have some bearing on our problem:
âLet others watch for longboats.
What can *you* do
Against pillagers
Other than write?â

It's all rather depressing. I do wonder how Test Match cricket will survive if red ball cricket keeps on being shunted to the sidelines

In full agreement with 'Small Stakes' below.

SK.
With you on that. They've sold the game down the river. Bastards.

Fully understand.
Totally understandable. But please don't give up trying to fight the good fight, however futile it may currently seem.
